what is love?
a fleeting moment of intense attraction?
a deep trough of tangling emotions?
a strongest belief in everything relatable?
an everlasting longing?
a constant struggle to happiness?
a mission to bring joy and hope?
how many of us, truly know what love is?
when we think we're in love.. is it mere attraction, interest, infatuation, or a maturing crush? when do we know we crossed that line of all-but-love to the realm of true love?
love is selfless, love is pure. love seeks no evil, love believes.
but how do you know.. if what you have is love?
when time and tide passes, will your 'love' age with you? in moments of tribulations, will the tests weigh you down? if we had a barometer, would your love be over the last mark? but i had a bucket, will your love spill over?
even if you know or think you know love, how do you know the other truly loves as well?
does love seek an equal reciprocation? or does it cover all? to love an unloved, to love and not be love, to never have love, to never be loved. which is the worst of all?
many times i have posted on love, 1 cor 13.
but truly, the meaning of it eludes me.
where does love end and duty begin?
where do sacrifices end and judging begin?
where does happiness end and pain begin?
how do you love and not love the right way?
how do you know if the way you love is the way the other wants to be loved?
if not, would you change the way you love?
is love domineering or supportive? forceful in decisions or advisory and supporting?
what is love?
enlighten me please.
